My Kinder Beat Training at PJ

Last Sunday and Monday i attended the Kinder Beat Training at SS2, PJ...

Surprisingly..It was fun...not boring...and...I felt like a child again loh during the training, seriously. You'll get what I mean later. xD

There are few of us who attended this training....of course, I'm from the furthest..Kuching. There's one teacher from Kuantan..then the rest are local, from KL. Our trainee is from Malacca...and she's really good with kids (her husband is from Kuching). We had a demo class held on Sunday afternoon and ALL the 11 children who went for the demo class signed up at the end with their parents. The class is hold for 45 minutes, once a week and costing RM80 per month for each student.

Okay...the training itself cost me RM600.00 and i was shocked that i still need to get the books, both level 1 and level 2...(including CDs) and teacher's guide level 1 and 2...which cost me another RM700+. ARGHHH~!!! My heart darn sad that time when i took out my credit card. LoL~

It's so expensive...I wrapped the books...with care...

Well, why i say i felt like a kid again? Because this program is targeted to 2 1/2 to 5 years old children for brain development and acceleration. Some sort for the children that young, to enjoy music...and to appreciate music..enhancing their creativity as well. Then, Level 1 book also comes with a Kinder Bear soft toy named "Kinder Bear"...and Level 2 book comes with a Kinder Roo soft toy named "Kinder Roo" and the baby named "JOEY" (HAHAHAHA) sticked to Kinder Roo mommy's tummy in her pocket. Then the trainer goes through with us song by song in the books...and what to emphasize when teaching the kids for each song. So while we go through the songs in the book...we have to imagine that we're the kids. LoLx~

Sorry I don't have the toys with me in Kuching to show it on the blog. I left it at my God sis's place back in Tmn Desa. It looks something like this lor....like in the book, so children can relate to it. And we do use the toys when we sing the songs inside or do activities together. I need to find other animals also that's inside the book...like....dog, frog, car, pig, etc.

Ok...the songs in the book are very fun...a variety of slow and fast songs...which requires us (teachers) to guide and teach the children to do the gestures..movement..clapping..singing...bla bla bla. It's more like having fun with the kids with songs, singing, dancing, story telling, etc. So...in a way, i got to be like a kid and be happy happy (even though i may be tired or sad) to do all those movements and sing songs...
.......
like....

Come on everyone join in, (make a circle, hold hands together with the children, walk in a circle)
Gather round and then we'll sing.
Playing games, we'll all have fun,
Have a ball with everyone!

Chorus:
Music time, music time, music time,
Tap the beat it's music time. (stop and tap on the knees following the rhythm)

Flying like an aeroplane, (open arms and pretend to fly in circles with the children)
In the sun and through the rain.
Over seas and mountains too,
Come along there's room for you!

Can imagine??? LOL~~ I love the flying part.....
