Movies & Musical 3

Phew...3rd post of the day :P

Do I get a reward for this?? :D

Me, Estee, Pocky & Cody attended this charity show by Philharmonic Society of Selangor. Estee asked if I wanna come because she knows I loveeeeeeeeee Disney movies & songs. :D Xie xie, Estee darling...because I really enjoyed myself!!

They not only have Disney songs on the show..but also other broadway musicals such as The Cats, Evita, Les Miserables, Mamma Mia, etc.

It not only includes singing but also dancing from the Aurora dance school. Lots of leng luiisssss dancing and singing!! Casey..you missed it!! :P

The thing that amused me and Estee the most was the choir. They move!! ...HAHAHA..it's so hilarious. I mean, you hardly get choirs whom the members sways, do motions with their body and stuffs like that. It's very entertaining... :D

These aunties...reminded Estee of her own mom.
HAHA...
Well, I can't imagine my mom dancing and singing like this though..

This uncle...really can sing and act..it's so funny, people were laughing :D
The uncle likes to shake his hands in the air while he sings...

The most unforgettable scene was during The Cat's song...there's a guy with the cat's tail come out and dance his really awesome moves!! :D Those who attended will know what I'm talking about. :D
Nehh...can you see the guy doing the splits? :D

Even got Jesus's song..which we all never hear before...

And now...our Bodo photos :D

Cody, Sylvia & Estee

And people started asking me since when I became specky after this photo...
T.T

BodoBy, BodoLat & BodoKy...BodoSey missing :X

Sweet sweet :D

Eelyn's comment on this photo : "hu hu hu~~~ looking good ah both of u ;)"
Sylvia's reply: "is very good :D"
Eelyn's comment: "yes yes. i wonder when it'll get better ;)"

So when it'll get better? :P

A Danish-Indian Wedding

During my dad was down to KL 2 weeks ago...I attended a wedding dinner with him at Sheraton Imperial Hotel. It was his Danish friend's nephew who got married.

I've attended many Chinese weddings before...with 30-50 tables...also with the awful karaokes and delicious suckling pig. So, this is the first time I attend a danish-indian wedding...but mainly following the danish culture.

I had to go to the ladies...and since there was no one in there..i camwhored with the mirror. :P I hardly camwhore...so, appreciate this photo for once please? Hahaha...

The dress I wore was given by my dad like say...2-3 yrs ago. It's the 2nd time I wore it and the 1st time I wore it OUT from my house. :D

We had cocktail session for about an hour...and when the bride and bridegroom came...we had to throw these rice with heart shapes on them. They said the harder we throw, the more luck and happiness will befall on them. LOL.

The ambiance is different from a chinese wedding. It's much smaller...with around 20 tables...not round, but square..and some tables have only 2 person on it. European weddings are kept small and 'intimate'. :D

First time i see wedding cake which is pink and red in colour @.@

Our table....

The menu.....

I was impressed with the food. It's not heavy...and it's juuuuustttt nice for the stomach.

I'm sure Casey won't be satisfied with the food portion though. :P

Italian bread as a starter

1st...is the appetizer..

Honey cured Salmon with Basil air foam,
Buffalo mozzarella cheese with semi dried tomato, olive oil,
and
Deep fried oyster with tomato salsa.

Next is the main dish...

My dad's dish was
Braised beef short rib on Yellow polenta, micro cress and green asparagus

and I had
Roasted cod fish fresh basil sause, vegetable caponata and Fennel tomato salsa

Cody...i'm eating you :D
Fish...i'm eating you :D

Lastly, the desserts..

Villa Danieli's Tiramisu with tiramisu chocolate sticks,
Strawberry tartlet and
Citrus profiterole

They all look so round & cute on the long plate..

The Danish's way of saying Yam Seng like in the Chinese wedding...is "Skoal". So..it's very unusual for us to say "Skooooooooooooaaaaaallllllllllllllllllll" instead.

And another culture in Danish's wedding is the family members of the bridegroom will cut off his socks with a scissor which he's wearing. @.@ Very unusual....and when the Host asked what's the reason behind it..they can't answer though. So...there's the power of Google. And this is what I found: "The groom's socks are cut off at the toes or the end of his tie is cut off. It is said that this is so that the bride will have to prove that she can sew!"... -___-"

Another culture during the wedding which amused me was when the guests bang on their plates with their knife or fork, the wedding couple have to climb onto their chairs and kiss! That was very funny~~ Well, I found out that there's another culture, which we didn't practice it that night. It's when the guests stamp their feet, the pair have to kiss under the table. LOL~ Interesting, ain't it? :D

And this is their Danish cake...
Actually it looks like a Volcano :P
with flags on it..haha..so cute~

This is an example from the internet....

We can't find it in Malaysia's bakery shop...
so they made it by themselves...
and put Denmark and Malaysia flag on it...
HAHA...

Want a bite? :D

It's very sweet....made from sugar + almonds.

Her looks got potential to be part of our Bodo family, right? LoL.
Just kidding, Koh Ping. :X

A Jack Russel looking at sexy babes in the beach.

Golden retriever is sand bathing herself.

Me with GirlGirl at the beach...she looks happy~~~
But actually she was scared cause
there were many people and dogs for the first time.

Singapore Trip with my God sis and her boyfriend.

We stayed at Marina Mandarin Hotel...
And I love the room's design~

We should try this if we have chance to go down to Singapore together...

The chilli pepper crab :D
The sauce is superbbbb....yum yum~~~

And they have a unique name for their restaurant...
which has a history behind it.

My God sis and I went to the Night Safari...
Which was pretty interesting...trying so hard to spot animals in the dark...
@.@

Until we had to become one...

Wakakaka...

This Singapore trip was actually for celebrating our 10th Anniversary as sisters.
I knew her since I was 15 years old and we were sisters ever since.
Very blessed to have known her...
because our sister bond has been very strong up til today.

And this is her boyfriend, Aames.

We wanted to go to the Universal Studio...BUT...the tickets were all sold out already.
:( If we want to go down to Singapore together and visit the Universal Studio,
we have to purchase the tickets online in advance!!!
I repeat....If we want to go down to Singapore together and visit the Universal Studio,
we have to purchase the tickets online in advance!!!
I repeat...bla bla bla bla bla....bla bla bla!!!

But we did sat some 3D rides and saw the Musical Fountain at night..
which was overall enjoyable too.

NEXT.....

Malacca trip on Cody's 30th Birthday...Huhuhuhu...30~~
Sad or happy number for Cody?

This is Cody with Kelvin..with their new gay friend they met at Jonker Street.

This is them..with another gay friend while queuing up for....

for.....

for....

CHICKEN RICE BALLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ahhh..I'm hungry now..hahaha.
I'm missing the balls...bulat bulat balls...and their chicken. :P

And we learned that Estee was so determined and patient to eat her coconut clean...

And then...we never ever gonna miss this when we go down Malacca...

Their Ais Cendol....

Estee asked for extra gula melaka..and there..you see,
got 1 with extra brownish colour is hers loh.
And Estee was like... "I thought I meant for all of us"...but the uncle only put it on hers.
HAHA...
Well, ask...and you will receive. (somewhere in the Bible)
We didn't so we didn't have extra gula melaka loh. :P

Then we went to this Ikan Bakar restaurant nearby the sea side...
Which Kelvin claim we can eat seafood..
and we didn't know it's actually this kind of 'seafood'.

And after our Malacca day trip...we head back to PJ....

To have our dinner and Karaoke for Cody's birthday.

Ah.....Cody asked for 30 candles...so there!!
You have 30 candles on your cake! :P

Our birthday present to him...was 2 polo t-shirts...but with gay colours.
Haha...
And he said it's tight... so he wanna ask if Ting2 could change the size for him or not, otherwise he'll pass it to me to wear to sleep -_-!!
Ya ya...very funny....
