Kuching Miao Miao 17-20th Aug 2009

Warning: Lots of photos ahead :P

****

Because BodoLat can't come along with me to Kuching...so i went alone this time. :D Hope in the future your papa mama can allow you la. *pat pat Bulat*

My trip back to Kuching wasn't that relaxing as i thought it would be. I go out often, drove around the city up and down and at the end of the day, i got pretty tired.

1. At Home

Dad's chickens behind the house.

Dad's tortoises outside the house. Can you spot the tortoises making love? :P

Dad's fish aquarium which the tank was replaced for a new one and the landscape was re-done because the old tank was leaking few weeks ago and caused a lot of fish to die after that incident. *Sad*

My bedroom which you all know i missssss sooo muchhh
Sorry it's messy :P

I got video of the dogs at home but can't upload it coz of the slow internet connection. Share the pity look of the labradors at home, waiting to come out from their 'room' after 5pm.

2. Kuching Food

Hopoh Lui Cha

This is a famous hakka dish with all the vegetables and the herb soup (which is bitter) and some nuts.

Kueh Chap

The soup is boiled with herbs and there're pork meats and spare parts in it. The noodle is the flat type which is almost like pan mee but the texture is much softer. :D

My cousin, Edwin. Say chesseeee

Mee Pok

Cooked the same way as kolo mee but the mee type is called mee pok. Taste slightly different than kolo mee.

Kolo Mee

This is the seafood kolo mee, replacing the char sio and minced pork with seafoods.

Kolo Kiaw - Wan tan

The wantan in Kuching tastes very different from over here

Foochow Kong Pia

Foochow bread which is crispy at the outside and juicy in the inside with the minced pork. This one to show Amos the difference of Kuching's kong pia with West M'sia''s kong pia

Tomato Sauced Stir-fried Kolo Mee

Tomato sauced but taste different than a spaghetti sauced. xD This one only at Kuching can get

Fried Kolo Mee

Kolo mee can be cooked in many ways... :D

Coconut + Sugarcane drink

This drink is very famous here. :D

Fried Ice-cream - This one Bulat missed it

Hot and crispy at the outside, very cold in the inside

Prata Sausage

This one is very interesting. Outside use Prata skin then they put sausage, mayonese, chilli sauce and cabbage inside and wrap it.

Lamb Chop with Rosemary Sauce

Lamb chop which is so tender and juicy. This one my dancing teacher treat me. Heavy lunch with mushroom soup and breads. I miss dancing.... T.T

Lok Lok

Sweet potato, heh piah (prawn crackers) and sotong. Yum yum...

you want??? :P

3. Outing

This is my high school close friend's mom, Aunty Grace. She asked me to have breakfast with her at 10th mile bazaar as she's working there in the council..and we had laksa nearby. Aunty Grace said she want to take this photo to show to her son, Clement who is studying at Perth now to make him drool. Hohoho...

Outing with Jason and Edwin

At Kuching Festival, the Garden show, with my cousin, Edwin
