casey, i dedicate this food post to you:D cause i DID say i wanted to show you what i ate during the weekend. this is one of it.

and so ms.bulat is back at Waterlily Bistro-_-'' laughs* did not expect to return so fast! this time around i went with my family, so tried more dishes :D everything i'm gonna blog later is based on everyone's opinion overall and very "lost" names of the dishes with "lost" prices cause yours truly lost the receipt-_-
this time around we sat upstairs at some VIP looking section where if everyone else is on chairs, we were on floors! talk bout VIP seat. haha-_- lame. sorry. but design was a bit the failurelarh. you had to go up 2 steps to get to the platform. problem was platform was a bit small for the wide table. plus people kept climbing up the steps in order to get to the toilet means...people was trespassing the "VIP area" to go to toilet. lastly, for a nice cosy VIP looking corner we had a speaker right beside us blasting the wrong kind of songs, samba spanish style until you can't hear your own voice. really fail.com.

according to the food decision makers, menu was lil in food choices and funny it has western food as well. apparently looks the same as ole-ole bali in pyramid :D branchlar maybe. need to make money right?
lime + mint drink :D i only had a sip cause it was mom's. though to me the mint taste was pretty strong (those are mint leaves right?) but seriously nothing beats the next....
cucumber + something drink. omg :D i know that chilli inside is like wathe-ef. but i super love this drink. it just tasted nice and fresh! the chilli felt like it was just for deco purposes. who doesn't like colour i ask you.
nasi kunyit @ rm3 rocks everyone's socks. i'm not a rice fan. but everyone else at the table says a yay so a yay it is :D majority always wins.
i forgot what platter is this. but it comes with fried sotong (squid) , ayam (or was it sate) lilit and grilled chicken wings with 3 sauces. personally i think everyone liked the green sauce. somehow it looks oily to me so i was taking the red more. just spicy enough and white is mayo.
close up of the oily fried sotong that in the end i was scrapping all the fried flour and just eating the sotong.
Nasi Campur Beef Rendang rm30+.
comes with the ayam (sate?) lilit, sotong, prawns, fish, beef rendang, some fried keropok(cracker) thing and veggie side dish.
close up! nothing much. just that everyone loved the beef rendang. ms. chan says it was too tough but everyone else was having a yay bout the taste :D or maybe cause my family likes rendanglarh. easy to bribe.
the ayam (sate) lilit. must be a blend of some meat with certain stuffs. a bit hard otherwise nothing much to me..somehow after tasting the food to a certain extend (with the sauces) everything almost feels and taste the same laughs* sorry must be my bad tongue.
Siap Menggoreng rm25. jengjeng!! freaking big chicken! casey you can order this :D got a shock when it came. laughs* ms.chan said meat was dry but breast meat is supposed to be dry. but i LOVE breast meat :D so all's good to me.
Oxtail soup :D the rocks! i think this is prolly my 1st time drinking oxtail soup (sorrylar i super outdated) hahah with the garlic bread, lagi rocks! the white stuff in the soup? ketupat rice wei:D kuakua.
Es Campur!! rm11. the best thing of the whole lot and not just because i love desserts!! it really rocks!! :D what more can you ask for with sago, fruits (jackfruit, watermelon, banana etc) top it off with coconut shreds (the rock sugar hard type) argh. it was bigger then what i expected too!

if i ever have to go back waterlily or if i were to go back it's because of this dessert. trust me:D no other dessert looks as good as this on the menu so skip everything else and jump straight to this! no regrets! :D

prices for drinks was around rm10-ish, food rm20-30+. no government tax but there is 10% service charge. all the above was around rm159. you do the math :D

so casey, when you wanna bring your fishfish? :D hahaha

Coming up NEXT...

Estee and Sylvia's HoNeYmOoN in Korea :D

-----------------

8 Days and 6 Nights of seeing each other, except for taking bath, peeing & pooing and sleep. I never thought that we would actually experience traveling together until this trip to Korea.

I'm surprised that Estee loves airplane food. How many of us actually LOVES...i repeat...LOVESSSSSS airplane food? -__-
I know I don't find it anything fancy or worth LOVIN' it.
McDonald's on my mind right now..hahaha...NOW that's what I call I'M LOVIN' IT. :D

This is our breakfast in the airplane on the way to Korea.

And guess what? I vomited all those out once we landed in Korea because I have motion sickness. It's not a good feeling altogether... T.T
Trust me...because I'm an experience vomiter for motion sickness. Kakaka... :P

Estee's loveeeee for Korean food :D
You guys should see her eat in Korea.... :P

It was Autumn when we were in Korea...the weather is cool..nice...dry..and our skin starts to peel...lips starts to crack...good exfoliation for our skin..... :D

*Wind bloowwww*

At Mt. Sorak...Estee with the Banana raincoat and me with Purple raincoat.
*Pinching Estee's cheek*

Handsome guys...pretty girls...are everywhere but we don't know if their features are for real or not because their country is too popular with plastic surgery.

Phewwiit...still...we love to see them, right? :D

The amazing thing is they make full use of Korean females in their TV advertisements. Every...EVERY single TV advertisements ... sure got leng lui to see one...no matter if the leng lui ends up bringing meaning to the product or not. They just want their face on the ads.

This was our morning exercise...walking up to Sungsan Sunrise Peak, where Estee re-tied her shoe lace more than 5 times. On a second thought...the photo looks like Estee purposely posing for a photo shoot. :D

*Blehhh*

I was worried when she kiss this....

I scare she doesn't love Pocky and Casey anymore. xD

And maybe settle for a cute Korean guy there. xD xD

Or maybe..she wanna join a bear family?

Haha..

Anyway....we enjoyed Korean ice cream so much....as you can see...

The ice cream...

becoming...

like this....

Guess what happened? :D

*Ahem* Can ask me in MSN :D

Slurrpp...

The best day was at Everland themepark...which I'm sure Casey's gonna cry if he follows us because he's scare of Rollercoaster.

We sat on the T-express rollercoaster which has a 77 degrees slope down....it's very gan jiong..and the ride was about 3 minutes altogether. I know I came down feeling dizzy...and I was sweating, while Estee was like "AAHH...SO FUNNN..I WANNA SIT AGAIN..."...and my face like -___-"....

*Bite her*

I love roses...until I even wanna taste it. :P

The ATV Ride experience was on such a cooollld day...the wind was so strong...but we didn't care. Pockyy....if you sit on this ride and let Estee take control...I'm sure you won't doubt about Estee's driving skills anymore..haha.

We even feed the mehh-mehhh...

They all look soooo hungryyy....

Shopping in Korea was fun...especially when we saw how CHEAP the accessories are...such as necklaces, earrings, hair clips, hair bands....

And the amount of accessories to choose from.... shocking!!

Some Korean sales girls are friendly and they will generously give discounts. But some would mumble after we walk away not buying anything from them when we feel it's still too expensive. I guess that's why some people said Korean people are rude? xD

But this Korean lady is nice...and she even posed for us with her cute calculator which Estee asked if it's for sale.

We experienced a lot of Korean stuffs....including Korean beer, "Cass", which has 3% of alcohol.

Big ONIONS...in their supermarket.

Bigger than my boobs la..

And BIG and LONG spring onions.....
Haha..Estee's face expression so cute :D

And the fish market..which I've uploaded the video on live killing of sotong and fish in facebook by the Korean women.

Now..ending the post with some lameness....taken from O Sulloc Green Tea Museum...

From SYLVIA

*The tea pot version*

And ESTEE....
