Actually we were there to watch Aladdin, the Musical Show.

The ticket.....

And Siu Mai mei mei actually got 2 free tickets to watch the show from blogging about this event. Actually, she was supposed to bring only 1 person to watch the show with her and that she thought she need not any tickets to enter. :P

This is Siu mai's younger sister...whom we call Ah B....

So as you can see...she brought 2 persons along with her to watch the show. Means 3 persons with only 2 tickets...so what do you think the outcome is? Hahaha...

When Siu Mai met her friends, she only found out that she needed a ticket to enter also.

Oh noo....

And I don't know it's a lucky thing or not...because when she was on the phone with one of her friend (who was supposed to come to attend the show as well) to ask him where is he...and at that moment, he met with an accident and ended up going to the police station to settle the issue. And because of that, he couldn't make it to the show...and thus, we have an extra tickets just enough for 3 of us to enter.

The show was funny and nice. They not only sing Disney Aladdin songs, includes many songs from today's hits such as "I wanna be a billionaire", "Marry me", "Nobody", etc.

And I love the Genie the most cause he's so funny and good with his dance moves. :D

It was my 26th birthday....finally belonging to the late 20s category. Hahaha...

My birthday this year was very simple...but it was okay. I wasn't expecting anything hoo haa anyway. Keat planned a birthday dinner with Francis and Evon at Paris Restaurant, SS2.

I have no idea what Keat was trying to do...

Seems like a must to do for the birthday person before cutting the cake....hehehe.

Thanks for everything and also the pressies....and the lovely cheese cake! I was so touched....

And the most expensive and unexpected birthday present I got this year is from my parents, which is an iPad2. It was a jaw dropping for me when I saw it....but i didn't take photo of it lar. :) Next time got chance you all can see it, though I hardly bring it out with me actually.

My Work

A little updates of my work, especially to Rocky. I don't know what he imagined me teaching when we met up for dinner on Saturday at 6to10. He forgotten what I'm teaching. Must whack Rocky's butt already...Estee help me with that. :P

I'm still teaching piano at Plug & Play music school at Subang on Wednesday nights, Thursdays nights and Saturdays whole day. And since September, I've been a relief music teacher in Tenby International School at Setia Eco Park, Shah Alam and they're taking me as a permanent music teacher from January onwards. It's a different environment altogether and different type of teaching approach (from 1 on 1 to 1 on 25 students). This job was introduced by my boss from P&P music school so I am very grateful to him for that.

The school has a big compound and has it's own indoor basketball court and swimming pool. They have different blocks for the Nursery & Early Years, International school classes and Private school classes (Sekolah Sri Tenby). The surrounding landscape is also nice because it's just next to the Eco Park. I've never been to anywhere around the area except going to the school. LOL...

So I'm currently working at 2 places now.

As for my Amway business, I have set my next target of 12% in the coming January. The highest so far I've achieved is 9%...and I have to set my next goal in order to have this breakthrough. YAYYY...so gambateh to me in finding potential partners to be in this network together and become successful together then go traveling together!

LTCL Graduation 2011

It's time to blog back...after so many months being MIA!!!

Although my graduation was in September and I'm 3 months due for this post...but better late than never. HEHEHE :P

My licentiate exam was in June this year and right after the exam in the morning, I fell sick. Hehe. I think that's very common for those who over stresses him or herself out before the exam. I didn't had a good sleep the night before the exam and screw up some parts during my playing. Thank God I still managed to do well in it overall although I was so worried and was telling Estee that I did badly. I was so nervous when the result came to the house and my heart was bik bok bik bok-ing so fast when I open my result slip.

Anyway, cut things short and talking about the day of my graduation with photos...

The graduation was held at Subang Grand Dorsett on the 16th September 2011.

First...must introduce my parents who flew down from Kuching for my graduation. A photo taken with my dad and my step mom...(my cousin said we all look alike in facebook...and I think it's a good thing) :D Anyway...I love my parents very much as I know and feel that they always do their best to provide whatever I need in my life and make sure I'm fine despite being far from them now. Can feel that they are "spoiling" me also by the things they do and all the gifts they've given me...but as long as I don't "spoil" myself and taking them for granted, it's still fine. :)

So far Estee met my dad before...and Rocky managed to met both my parents on my graduation. :D

Thank you, Rocky... for coming to my graduation. Although Estee and Casey couldn't make it...thank you for the graduation present. I love the Zee Avi's Ghostbird CD album...and my favorite song is the Bahasa Sarawak song..."Siboh Kitak Nangis". Our Bahasa Sarawak is a bit different from Bahasa Melayu. Siboh means Don't...Kitak means You...Nangis means Cry (same with Malay word). So the title is "Don't You Cry". It's a very comforting and relaxing song. Keat has been listening to this song over and over with me in the car for the few days after I got the CD while i set this song as Repeat. Hahaha...

Next, I have to extend my gratitude to my piano teacher, Sarah Yan...for her guidance and teachings on my piano skills in order for me to do well in my exam. My piano teacher teaches in Yamaha school too and I was recommended to go to her by her brother who worked together with me in Talent Makers at SS2, the first music school I worked with.

Keat shared my happiness on that day. He's so happy that I finally finished my exam and graduated because he'd been telling me that my stress level was influencing him as well. :P

hello! the cute door that greets you before entering! seriously, if you do not know the area well, you might have to waste a lil petrol making rounds cause it wasn't really prominent to begin with and it's kinda tucked away..hidden..somewhere. laughs*

you are required to take off your shoes before entering (if i remember correctly) i guess it does promote warm, homey kinda feel by doing so.

the blackboard that was outside with the signage..brings manymany memories of high school and the horrible chalk dust floating around when erased. the fact that i was short, not fun erasing the blackboard LOL i recalled in std 3 maybe? i was jumping to rub the top part of the blackboard. short remember? not to mention fat too (fatter then now lol growing sideways at top speed!)

and my teacher actually said, in front of the whole class.
"omg! don't jump. i can feel earthquake! i can't mark my work!"
.....i don't have to tell you how loud everyone laughed and she was actually being serious cause while saying it, she was holding both sides of the table with her hands like there was really an earthquake-_-!

this will greet you once you step in! the beautiful display of cakes...no , wait. actually the aroma will hit you first laughs* nothing beats a nice smelling cafe...omg...it's is damn heavenly the feeling...not to mention they have a glass window at the right side of the cafe that gives you a small view of the kitchen where 2 or 3 pastry chefs would be sprinkling their magic dusts to produce awesome goodies! :D yay!

love this! patchwork cloth thing to serve as a divider? door? i think i used to hate this kinda patchwork thing when i was young. both my grandmas did many things like these and i thought it was horrible cause it looks like a poor people thing *spoilt girl lol* but now my views have changed 180 degree..hahah i wonder why.

they have another room after the patchwork divider thing which i lovelove. it feels like a nice place for people to hang out if there a small party or something...maybe around 15 people? to just do whatever you want amongst yourself in a private room. downside is, right opposite this room is an office? actually its a floor that is divided by 2. the cafe on one side and office of a co. the other side. there was no one in that office when i went but my friend said there was when she went and it felt kinda weird to have a bunch of random ppl "at the cafe" although they are in another room all together.

the mille crepe cake! arhhh!!!* i sometimes wonder what is the big fuss over mille crepe cakes (like what is the fuss over macaroons.) but whatever...ahhhh!!!!*
erm ...this was prolly tiramisu. it was not bad....but still nothing beats the famous nadeje at melacca....or austin chase's layer cake.

original/vanilla mille crepe...sadly this was...like.....it was like eating butter. hardened butter. cold hardened butter. mille crepe is usually soft. this was actually kinda hard...i was alright with the taste but my bro (being the pro if all mille crepe cakes) hated it. hahaha T_T he said it was not good at all. wasting his calories. sigh* i read good reviews on their mille crepe though. maybe the pâtissier was having a bad day thus this cake, lacking with love during baking process..haha-_-!

on a plus side, i feel the cakes are reasonably priced at around rm8.50 per piece..don't think i see these kind of prices anymore lately. it's crazy but it starts to feel like rm12-rm15 is a normal pricing for a slice of cake when clearly you don't need that much for the ingredients.

well...if you don't pay (as in cash) then you will pay (as in energy) when you self-bake. hahahaha

Canoodling @ bangsar village II

have always wanted to try the place cause of the wonderful deco from the outside itself:)what to do. i'm superficial. hahaha~

finally a chance came when by chance i was at BVII with mom and with mom she basically ALL IN for anything new~ yay me!

the place was mainly yellow theme in a glance (see menu) with neat and clean settings and with the wonderful hanging table lamps at one end of the cafe/restaurant must have captured many people's eyes. hahaha esp. my mom.

"rice-taurant" menu is on the right. next to canoodling and opened by the same group. (uh*hm, the group that runs 'plan b', 'ms.read', 't42' etc.)

the interesting part (to me, other then the wonderful yellow colour utensils used) was the blank piece of white paper used as 'tablecloth' cause it is used to doodle all you want. laughs* my table next door had 2 kids happily doodling away. good way to distract the kids from making noise or having something to do while waiting for the food. i rather see kids draw and stick their noses into their latest ipad/itouch-_- it's like the world around them suddenly disappears. bah.

the only other place that i remember having this was Avanti at Sunway Resort. went there 3 years? ago for christmas *laughs* going with a bunch of art students meant a paper full of rubbish drawings by the time we were done with the lunch buffet.

some seafood mee if i wasn't wrong. simple meehoon is what i feel, taste like ham choy soup. nothing to shout about but the soup was salty enough for me...mom thought it was overpowering. well, all the more for me then! :P
rojak! surprisingly this was really not bad. laughs* polished it off. lose to some roadside SS2 pasar malam rojak that i ate last monday but for a restaurant standard i think it's really not bad. mom loved it and she was surprised to see tauge inside hahaha

for the environment, i think price wise (around rm10-ish) is still fine. but if i were to go back though, would try the more exotic dishes they had on the right side of the menu! some peanut butter sauce mee! laughs* mom REFUSED to take it. hahaha

right at the bridge between BVI and II, brought mom there cause a friend ooh-ed and aah-ed over the coffee they served. hahaha well, it IS illy. definitely can't go much wrong with that!

for a non coffee drinker (coming from a family that drinks coffee religiously, funny that i don't-_- i do drink BLACK coffee though, no sugar nor milk. but that's like really rare) i present you their tiramisu priced at rm14, it was not bad but there was no kahlua taste and tons of coffee used to sub it. kuakuakua. but overall, it wasn't bad but i doubt i will pay rm14 for it as my mom makes better tiramisu! WITH enough kahlua. (the alcohol used when making tiramisu)

mom took the caffe latte, which she happily polished off and no complains in between. (very good sign haha you should see her complain once bout bad coffee) priced at rm10.

total was supposed to be rm14 exc tax. but at tea time, (was there around 3-ish?) a slice of cake and coffee, both at your choice is at rm18 exc tax.

spent the afternoon gossiping with mom. yes, we exchange gossips. laughs* her friends and mine. not every nitty gritty detail but enough to know what's going on in each other's circle of friends. despite how much i can't stand my mom sometimes and the amount of "arguements" we have, moments like these i know i should treasure it and yes, it is a love but beh tahan relationship with my mom. laughs*

actually the main reason we bought this is cause every Sat we are at the JFKL library,Midvalley so it makes sense to buy vouchers that are redeemable at Midvalley/Gardens right? :P funnily we ate something veryvery filling that day and not even 2 hours later, we went to redeem this. laughs*

verdict : seriously in comparison with groupon's photo, other then the fact that there wasn't any garnish in ours and the salmon slices were a tad small, everything was ay-okay!:) esp the soup. hahahahahha! though it felt a lil funny as the soup was served in a plastic container. easy for packing if you can't finish it though. and the green tea? came in a very thick, good quality paper cup..that i sheepishly carried it, sipping throughout the journey from sushi Q to the car and later, washed the cup and kept it. laughs* im using it to put pens and stuffs. maybe i should decorate it too since it's so plain! :P

when sushi Q was frst opened (or when i frst saw it at 1U) i was really doubtful bout it. i mean..it's right in the middle of the "highway" and it looks like an express, take&go counter. how good can it be? sushi is supposed to be a delicate thing, personally made by the chef's hands with heart (acc. to me larh) but with mass production nowadays you tend to raise an eyebrow bout it. but Thank God, sushi Q did not let me down..well not top-notch but at least, it's wayyyyyy better then i expected:)

one thing that pocky and me have been doing lately is definitely spending money...him spending more then me! T_T (sorry!) buying all these deals online! mainly food! -_-! omgosh! so if anyone noticed my weight gain. DO NOT, i repeat DO NOT SAY IT. *stares*

milkadeal, groupon, everyday, webuy...etcetcetc. the list is endless! my gmail is bombarded with updates from them almost everyday. not that i really mind but it's really eating our pockets semi-dry laughs*

2nd redemption, got a scoop each. but it's funny. the waiter seems to know i prefer vanilla and pocky prefers chocolate. both times, despite the scoop counts, he got the flavours right when placing the dessert in front of us. hahahha

verdict : Okay ba. although not really good "sidekick" dishes, but the main course was well worth at least. rm33.90 for both of us to be full and happy. it's considered not bad fr a angmo dinner price:) which we hardly go for.

big boy's (uh*hm...or should i say ah pek? :P) 26th (hahaha :P) birthday started off with bulat having an exam in the morning and him having work....laughs*

anyway we had our first eateat celebration at 6 to 10 @ Aman Suria...cause...bulat was really hungry T_T and can't wait any longer...so in the end went to the nearest not bad place to eat. birthday boy ordered fish&chips...which the round one uh*hm..i think end up eating more of it then he did hahahahh cause it was really good! :D while doing so, round one was slowly, sneakily passing bit by bit her chicken chop over to his plate and stealing more of his fish~:D
sorryyy.. T_T but ..we both were happy right?! cause a full tummy is a happy one!:P

night time was some random restaurant/cafe near his place. the 3 of us...him, me and his mom ~ laughs* went for a grocery walk and then proceed to have dinner together. too paiseh to take photos of the food in front of his mom but look at the nice cups as deco! :P anytime also got spare if anyone were to break any cups! hahah good "storage!" food was not bad actually, maybe cause we ate things that we both liked hahahah~big paiseh came when his mom paid for the dinner....so i just said a "thank you auntie!" with a "oh noooo how comeee!! paiseh!! sorry!!" look all over my face-_-
meet barney (yes now you all know who pocky sayang most...is not me. is barney hahahaha) this cake....is like...i prayed with all my heart, crossed all my fingers and toes and whatever, hoping it taste AT LEAST OKAY. at least a pass..cause it is....yes, homemade. hahahahahah T_T i shall skip my horrible chocolate cake baking story for another day~-_-!! but i'm thankful both him and his mom liked the cake. yayyyy *dances around! throws jellybeans* pocky was giving me stress the whole day! he kept saying "cakecakecake!" i was like "Erggggg!!!what if the cake KILLED SOMEONE!?"

i admit i am not a very beach person. haha i really love beaches but....too much sun kills me. deep sea water is scary. sand is hard to manage T_T i guess my idea of a beach trip is to lie on a beach chair with a big umbrella drinking cocktail and reading a good book :D

hahahah i don't know whose face was more priceless. the worker upon hearing her remark or the grandmamas, utter shock at the wrong thing she has heard. i was just trying hard not to laugh. hahahahaha

overall, nice bread but for the kind of price tag that comes with it, either eat it occasionally or earn more money ! laughs* kamsiah*

i try never, ever to use Mac Products cause i know they cost an arm and a leg (to me lar-_- not used to these big 4 digits thing) and cause i know once in, no u-turn.

if only the itouch has GPS, then i don't have to debate with myself sometimes, now and then whether to get an itouch so i don't actually kill my brother's one with all my overdosage of using it. hahaha :D confirm will get it if got GPS cause i confirm will use it and it will be a big help to me and rocky...since every we go somewhere "unknown" he actually prints out google maps and me being the navigator, very the fail wan la-_-

As you all know...I went to Guangzhou, China in the last week of February for the Amway Seminar. It's tiring but it's worth the trip, I would say :D Although I had problems with mandarin language there and I was pretty stressed up on the first day of the seminar. It's also because we weren't sitting in a group together. We were separated into different team colours and each colours also have different team names. So...I was sitting alone, trying to grasp every chinese words the China people were talking. T.T

Putting that aside...I had fun with my business partners cum friends. And one thing I learned about going to a trip with a group of friends...be careful when you're sleeping because there will be people taking photo of YOU...

i just spent 25 minutes scrolling ALL our posts in the last 26 months *yay!*
i think my mouse also just died from all the non stop scrolling ~ kakaka

i think in many ways although we don't spent 24 hours together, we have our own lil memories of each other in lil ways.

maybe it's as small as random MSN conversations we have with each other (we posted quite a lot kns, funny ones haha) or just sudden outings (like me and KC to pasar malam O_o he was my dustbin that night :D and overniting at my house! O_o) or maybe BIG things like me and sylvia going overseas together! (my 1st time going overseas with a friend. always wanted to do it since high school haha dreams DO come true!)

i also miss "foursome" (and more) times like going to Bkt Tinggi (i assume that was our only bodo trip), "walking up" Broga Hill and having movie + dinner nights.

2010 definitely has been a crazy year for us all with all kinds of things happening. felt like having 4 seasons just that it was within us. inside. our soul. emotions.

My Taiwan Trip

Just wanna update to share about the Taiwan trip...I know you all can see my photo updates in FB anywayz...Haha..but I think blogging still feels more...up close and PERSONAL... :D (You all 100% sure agree with me....if not our plan to own our bodo blog serves no purpose..*hint hint* *cough cough*...so the 2 bodo guys know what you should do lah... yaa....)

....just as I'm typing this...the neighbor's cat is making freaky sound... -_-" zzzz... Rwarrrr!!

I went to Taiwan last month...for about a week. Went with my ex-coursemate/colleague...and it's just 2 of us girls...which according to people, it's rare that only 2 girls travel together. It was autumn when we went there..close to winter so the wind was cool. :D But not as cold as compared to Korea trip with Estee in 2009. Brrrr~ That made me fall sick after the trip.

That's me and Ai Ling with Taipei 101 building behind us :D

And we went to this "Modern Toilet Restaurant"...and tried this super cute stuff.
Everything there is served like shit and with toilet bowls...and we're actually sitting on a toilet bowl :D At a moment i felt like poo-pooing ... HAHAHA...

NEXT...

We saw this on the way to Jiu Fen Street... The golden colour at the sea was created by the chemical from the factory..though it looks nice, it's actually polluted and fishes there ain't supposed to be consumed by us...humans.....

At Jiu Fen...they have many many many yummy fooooddd...

Glass noodle with fish balls and tau hu...I LOOOVEE THISSSS...reminds me of Kuching's fish ball tang hoon soup at Carpenter street at the Temple there, which my dad always buy back for the family almost every time when i was still young :D

They're famous for this....bean balls for tong sui (sorry if my explanation seems wrong xD )...it's hot hot hot...and sweet...very sweet. I feel sweeter after taking this...and..happier! :D

NEXT....

This is the famous Yeh Liu. We can see a lot of rocks and more rocks....ROCKYYY..you're everywhere~

It was a wet and slippery day....

My Kuching friend, Andy at Taiwan came to find us at Taipei...

And we had dinner together...

And we came to a conclusion that Taiwanese has sweet taste buds...and they're sweet people..as their food are majority sweet taste..... :P

And we had our dessert...at Haagen Dazs...first time i see Haagen Dazs with it's own building...@.@

NEXT...

We had our chance to sit on the HSR Train...High speed train...
I didn't know how fast it went...cause the thing about me is...whenever I'm on the bus, train, or airplane going somewhere, I sure SLEEP....
I can sleep almost anywhere at anytime :P

To Hsinchu...to visit Andy.

He picked us up at the train station and drove us around....showing where his family business are, etc.

And we landed at the Lavendar farm...

The environment is very nice....very cozy...and I feel like a small kid there. :D Sounds like being in the Disneyland but no lar...different feeling...probably feels like a little girl enjoying the beauty of the flower and the smell. *sniff sniff* :D

They even allow dogs....aawhhh....I was missing Girl2 at that time...

We ordered lavender ice cream and lavender drink...hahahaha....

and I LOVE PURPLEEEEEE....

Apparently...Taiwan is so famous with their drink shop...

So, Andy treat us a drink...

which is freezing cold to my hands...(wee...i can see my own reflection). :D

We also had dinner at Hsinchu...recommended by Andy.

Damn chi-kek....duck soup with wine...and in steamboat style.

And I requested for their local beer...Hehehehe...to add on the chi-kekness..

The bean sauce was SUPERBBB...it tastes so goooodd...even now I'm drooling..

We went to the FLORA expo...and everything was flowers...plants...flowers and more flowers :D

But sadly, this is the Taiwan Storyland which we couldn't visit because the tickets were all sold out *sniff sniff*

We had been to the Toilet themed restaurant...now is the Airplane themed restaurant...

And their food is surprisingly good...

This Turkish guy is very entertaining with his lame moves (I don't call it as a dance)...and he actually 'plays' with the ice cream...teasing the customer. Sorry, his show didn't make me buy the ice cream so i didn't know how it tastes like. Hehe..

I was saying..it's one of my favorite place...because i can ride bicycle.....hahahaha. I felt so happy as i cycle...i donno why...it feels weird but happily weird~ And I was surprised my skill still stays with me after ages I didn't ride a bicycle. :D

I forgot what's this called but it's supposed to be the signature food of Danshui.
However, we didn't think it was that special and yeah...it's again sweet.

not so grateful that i prolly killed my sugar level that weekend cause i finished clean whatever desserts that was in the fridge. esp. whatever i bought. i bought more to share, mana tau everyone ask me to eat cause it's my birthday-_-

but prolly this is also the year i felt like i spent a lot on presents. almost everyone i knew got one. cause they each deserve something for being someone in my life :)
(although got some did not get to give cause did not manage to hunt T_T compensated with food pulak. yes, yes i still 'pin sam' cause my girlfriends are really more important and they did muchmuch more and all with an open heart)

Me, Estee, Pocky & Cody attended this charity show by Philharmonic Society of Selangor. Estee asked if I wanna come because she knows I loveeeeeeeeee Disney movies & songs. :D Xie xie, Estee darling...because I really enjoyed myself!!

They not only have Disney songs on the show..but also other broadway musicals such as The Cats, Evita, Les Miserables, Mamma Mia, etc.

It not only includes singing but also dancing from the Aurora dance school. Lots of leng luiisssss dancing and singing!! Casey..you missed it!! :P

The thing that amused me and Estee the most was the choir. They move!! ...HAHAHA..it's so hilarious. I mean, you hardly get choirs whom the members sways, do motions with their body and stuffs like that. It's very entertaining... :D

These aunties...reminded Estee of her own mom.

Well, I can't imagine my mom dancing and singing like this though..

This uncle...really can sing and act..it's so funny, people were laughing :D

A Danish-Indian Wedding

During my dad was down to KL 2 weeks ago...I attended a wedding dinner with him at Sheraton Imperial Hotel. It was his Danish friend's nephew who got married.

I've attended many Chinese weddings before...with 30-50 tables...also with the awful karaokes and delicious suckling pig. So, this is the first time I attend a danish-indian wedding...but mainly following the danish culture.

I had to go to the ladies...and since there was no one in there..i camwhored with the mirror. :P I hardly camwhore...so, appreciate this photo for once please? Hahaha...

The dress I wore was given by my dad like say...2-3 yrs ago. It's the 2nd time I wore it and the 1st time I wore it OUT from my house. :D

We had cocktail session for about an hour...and when the bride and bridegroom came...we had to throw these rice with heart shapes on them. They said the harder we throw, the more luck and happiness will befall on them. LOL.

The ambiance is different from a chinese wedding. It's much smaller...with around 20 tables...not round, but square..and some tables have only 2 person on it. European weddings are kept small and 'intimate'. :D

I was impressed with the food. It's not heavy...and it's juuuuustttt nice for the stomach.

I'm sure Casey won't be satisfied with the food portion though. :P

Italian bread as a starter

1st...is the appetizer..

Honey cured Salmon with Basil air foam,
Buffalo mozzarella cheese with semi dried tomato, olive oil,
and
Deep fried oyster with tomato salsa.

Next is the main dish...

My dad's dish was
Braised beef short rib on Yellow polenta, micro cress and green asparagus

and I had
Roasted cod fish fresh basil sause, vegetable caponata and Fennel tomato salsa

They all look so round & cute on the long plate..

The Danish's way of saying Yam Seng like in the Chinese wedding...is "Skoal". So..it's very unusual for us to say "Skooooooooooooaaaaaallllllllllllllllllll" instead.

And another culture in Danish's wedding is the family members of the bridegroom will cut off his socks with a scissor which he's wearing. @.@ Very unusual....and when the Host asked what's the reason behind it..they can't answer though. So...there's the power of Google. And this is what I found: "The groom's socks are cut off at the toes or the end of his tie is cut off. It is said that this is so that the bride will have to prove that she can sew!"... -___-"

Another culture during the wedding which amused me was when the guests bang on their plates with their knife or fork, the wedding couple have to climb onto their chairs and kiss! That was very funny~~ Well, I found out that there's another culture, which we didn't practice it that night. It's when the guests stamp their feet, the pair have to kiss under the table. LOL~ Interesting, ain't it? :D

This Singapore trip was actually for celebrating our 10th Anniversary as sisters.
I knew her since I was 15 years old and we were sisters ever since.
Very blessed to have known her...
because our sister bond has been very strong up til today.

We wanted to go to the Universal Studio...BUT...the tickets were all sold out already.

yesterday i learned that good doesn't mean it's all positive.

being nice is something that i have told myself, brainwashed myself over and over again to be. it's not that i want to be some saint loved by all. but i just wanna prove that there can be good and niceness in this world. if possible, it is better to be solved in a more peaceful way. cause in the long run, i have learned that controlling emotions is important.for one wrong step, the next second you might regret every thing you just did just cause you did not control.

but yesterday whatever i have been telling myself proved me all wrong.
being nice did nothing but hurt my friend.
being nice did nothing but made her suffer.
being nice did nothing but tears.

made me feel so useless.
so stupid.
as a friend, it was the worst of the worst.
in the end, it is the same as me not doing anything.

i thought too much, acted too lil.
i worried. worried in one way but forgot to think of the other.
worried he might go into extreme, for i can't predict what's going on.
what if things got worse inside as i worsen the situation outside?
but i forgot, forgot with every noise i make, means a step closer to freedom for her.

i cried. every tear was a sign of stupidity.
what can tears do.
so pissed at myself. always crying.

i am thankful she came back safe.
and that she is confirmed in safe hands.
for if she didn't, i am to blame. i am at fault.
i am not worthy of a friend.

i am so sorry.
i did not mean to write this to make you feel bad or worry.
i just need to say my apologies.
and that i will never, ever repeat the same mistake in any other kind of situation where its endangering a friend.

My Testimonial

I thought of sharing this with you all since we were told to write our testimonial after the church's Baptism & Membership Encounter Weekend at Sepang last weekend. I just sent this to the pastor through e-mail as it is required to gain the membership of the church. One of the reasons for this membership is to feel belong to a registered church and another reason is because Amos and I would like to go for their marriage course and counseling. :D

1. What is one most important spiritual lesson I have learnt?

The one most important thing I've learnt is that it is so crucial for us to guard our heart at all times. This is because we are often tempted by our surroundings and situations may make us fall into sinning. Ps Chris mentioned about the 'Roof top' rule in relation to 2 Samuel 11, which is very important to apply in our everyday life. We are responsible for every action we take and thus, we should be very careful and wise before it is too late. It makes me wonder how a normal human being can overcome all temptations as there is no one in this world who is as perfect as Jesus Christ who does not sin. Being the son of God and came down to earth to show us how we should live, I, then want to learn to live my life like Jesus did. Thus, the 'Roof top' rule will be my guidance in life in order to protect my heart and not give way to temptations.

2. What has transacted between you and God this weekend?

I would say that it is how much God loves us and never forsaken us. This is during the Father Heart of God session and it really touches my heart so deeply. When Ps Chris asked us to share about our earthly father to our sharing partner, the words used to describe my father was "loving, caring, understanding and funny". However, I know that my earthly father could not always be there for me and it is not easy for a daughter and father to have a heart-to-heart conversation. Hence, what more could I expect from God our father in Heaven who is always there for us and He watches over us all the time. He knows everything that is in our heart and mind and it feels good to know that I'm being watched all the time.

Ps Chris's so-called 'HK Drama' on Luke 15:11-24 really enlightens me to how deep God's love is for us. No matter how many times I've strayed away from God and couldn't understand what God's purpose for me to be in this world, I came to realize that God is forever waiting for me to come back to Him. I was born in a Christian family and was baptized when I was 10 years old. I remember being very excited and ever-ready to become a Christian and couldn't wait to accept Christ as my Lord and Savior at that age through baptism. As time goes by, my family slowly drifted away from church and became dysfunctional until my parents got separated and later on divorced. I was very upset and lonely at that time as I got no one to talk to. Being so emotional and broken at that period, I actually lost in touch with God in my heart with my bitterness. However, something within me sustained me to do well in my studies and the other things that I was doing in life. He'd given me friends who cares and loves me for who I am and I know God had taken care of me through them. During those years, I tried going back to church but I never felt like home. After so many years in my hometown, something tells me that I should have a breakthrough in my life and move to the West M'sia. After much contemplation and discussion with my father, I finally moved down to PJ. Not long after that, a friend of mine at that time introduced DUMC to me and I've visited DUMC ever since then. I felt so much joy as I was able to finally open my heart to sing praise and worship and enjoy the sermons being preached by the pastors. However, all my bitterness and hurts which I've buried for many years resurfaced and I had to deal with it one by one. I shed so much tears as I know that I have so much uncleared bad seeds in my heart. The thing affected me the most was my past relationships. It was really hard and I struggled a lot with heartbreaks and I somehow figured out that it was affected by my family's condition. I have sinned countless of times back then and I just can't thank God enough for giving us Jesus to save me . Because of Jesus, I am able to break free from my baggage and bondages. After all these has happened, I know for sure that God loves me a lot and had never forsaken me throughout these years.

3. How did you feel before and after the Encounter Weekend?

Before: I thought it would be a normal course just like the others I've attended in SOL Level 1. I didn't put much expectations to it and moreover, I had to cancel my dog outing with my friends and my dog on Labour's day because of this. :P So, I was a bit sad loh.

After: I never expected this to be so enlightening and it really brought me so much closer to God and it feels like I've been reunited with my father. I get to know how much God loves us and that he has a purpose for each of us in this life. So from now on, I will live with everything submitted to God and learn to live a carefree and loving life.

4: Why should others attend the Encounter Weekend?

I would encourage others to attend this because it made me a fresh start of my life and a reunion with God. I think they would be able to have a different perspective of God and understand what Christianity is all about. Besides that, it is also a good place for people to ask any questions about the church and about Christianity. I am sure that they're able to gain a lot in the area of knowledge and spiritual from this, just as I did.

I know everyone is so busy this month because of Chinese New Year. I miss you all dearly and can't wait for our next Bodo gathering again (though I just met Latlat last night and I know Pocky and Latlat met too.). *Teary eye*

I wish you all had a wonderful and meaningful CNY and Valentine's this year. Our plan to celebrate Valentine's Day in advance also failed :P

Nevertheless...everyday also can be a Valentine's day to us, right right? :D

This year's CNY is a special one because this is the 1st time I need to go back to Kuching for CNY. I was born there, grew up there, studied there, worked there...so basically I was always in Kuching and coming down to KL has been as holiday. Now it's the reverse! xD

I didn't get to 'lou sang' in Kuching. I don't know why it's not a tradition for my family to do so. Hehe.

But I get to 'lou sang' at Estee's house last night! Cody was really good to tapao this and WOW...it tastes really good. :D *Thumbs up to Cody*

After dinner and Estee's mom's attempt to feed us with alcohol drinks...me and Estee shared luck to gamble in Black Jack because according to Estee, she'd been really unlucky the previous nights and lost quite badly. And as for me..I hardly gamble...so I thought it's alright to 'share' luck, as i claimed "Negative and negative become positive". LOL. Well, we managed to win RM3 after losing and gaining back from the few hours game (the cycle just awkwardly repeating itself)...split to half..each person won a RM1.50. Haha.

And appearantly...Eelyn has been a very comfortable cushion to sit on for Girl2 until her legs got cramped. LOL.

Is Girl2's ang pow from Boarding Buddy. They brought her to Setia Alam and Subang for "pai nien"...and she got RM2 from each ang pow. *Shocked*

I used the RM4 to get her a treat from the pet shop today...

and she's now enjoying her CNY treat. :D *Woof woof*

When time is the only issue ...

For those who really know me, i really dislike time wasting. The reason being is that time is the most valuable thing in one's life. You can use time to learn things, knowing new people, making yourself a better person. Instead of spending time complaining about life and how terrible your work is, why not use those time to find a better job and making your life an even better one.
I never knew how i end up thinking like that and i'm not sure when it all started, but i am quite sensitive to time wasting. I live myself learning not to regret as regretting will just waste more time.

However.....

..... thing changes a few days ago. I regretted for the first time in a long long time. It was a very terrible feeling. I tried looking elsewhere and keep my heart running but i couldn't. I couldn't lecture anyone anymore. People who came to me, complaining about the same thing over and over again, i just don't know what to say anymore....

....People who keep searching for freedom. Freedom from their parents, freedom from their current life.

.....People who complained about their job. Complained about their salary and that they are not paid their worth.

.....People who argued over nothing. Argued over words, over a single eye blink. Argued over dollar and cents.

.....People who couldn't work, couldn't smile because they are heartbroken .... again.

If these are the problems you are facing every morning when you wake up, go on..continue wasting your time. Cause if one day, when sickness hits you.. you will realize that all these doesn't matter anymore. You will be begging God to make you the poorest person on earth, to make the whole world hate you, to place you in the worst job ever, to make your heart break a hundred times more...just not to take your life away. Not taking away the life of the people you love.

On 28th January 2010, while i was hoping that Manchester United can beat the hell out of Manchester City and book a spot in the League Cup final, a very close family member left us. Cancer got the best of him after 2 over years of battle as he left his two daughters and his wife ( my sister ). It was really painful especially after knowing about the problem he faced for the past few years. How could i not know ?

Even with all the problems they faced, he told a close relative that the past 15 years was the best time of his life. He married the best woman in the world, and gave birth to 2 great kids. Nothing else matters. It was the first time i saw my sisters cried since cancer took dad's life way 17 years ago.

My friend, there is no such thing as a perfect life. Everyone makes mistakes. As long as it is solvable, then solve it right away and try your best so that it won't happen again. Because when it's time that you have to face a problem that you couldn't solve, there will be no amount of sorry and regrets that will make a difference.

Gratefulness in 2009

1. What am I thankful and grateful to God in year 2009?

First of all, I'm thankful and grateful to God for always being by my side no matter where and when. He protects me whenever I go to places and He knows everything that I'm doing. (Haha sounds scary) But...that's how much I feel about His presence in my life since not too long ago. I was a Christian since young but I've backslided for many years to a point I don't even feel like a Christian. Having to get close to Him again is a blessing. I feel blessed because:

I began to realise that I have such great family & friends who cares and loves me for who I am. My Bodo family, my daddy, my cousins & niece, uncles & aunties, god sisters and friends from primary school until now.
I have the courage to shift in my career line from Accounting to Music. I feel I'm so much happier than before as I really enjoy what I'm doing, though the money I earn now is inadequate for me at the moment to survive in the big city. :X
I have the courage to move myself from Kuching to KL, despite many uncertainties and emotional breakdowns. I wasn't feeling so well with myself the past many years ago and I questioned myself the purpose of being in this world. I felt really lost at that time.
Having Amos to lead me back to church. I've been to a few churches before in Kuching but I never feel comfortable. This is the first time I'm able to open up to a church and the people within it.
Most of all, I'm grateful that God is always good to me & others and is like a Shepherd who would leave the group of lamb to look for 1 lamb who got lost. I've sinned a lot in my life and because of God's grace, I am able to repent, let go and look forward to be good by living according to His words in the Bible.

2. How do I rate myself in terms of attitude & character?

Arhh...this one is tough to answer. I would just say 7. The things I'm lacking in my attitude are:

I have the high tendency to envy others (-1 point)
I have the tendency to take things for granted at times (-1 point)
I'm not focused enough at times in my career (-1 point)

3. What do I want to improve in 2010?

To be more focused in building my career and in my music education
To show more of my love and care to others with a sincere heart
To stop envying and comparing with others
To not taking things or anyone for granted
To seek God more

4. How do we continue loving and caring for each other (Bodo family) in 2010?

Meet up once a week to catch up with each other
Plan for certain activities together. e.g. Movies, day trip
Celebrate our birthdays together
Update our blog :P
Care about what's happening in each other's life
Offer help whenever we can to each other
To have our hearts and minds open to one another without skeptic

Before i go on, thanks bodolat for giving happiness to me using her own version of 'spidey peek-a-boo' LOL! It was due to my displeasure about the sad news i knew yesterday :(

Long long time ago there was this lady called bodolat who wanted to eat.

Therefore, she asked her merry frens: The Bodos for a merry dinner at Bbq Chicken.

The merry frens in Bodos are: bodoby, bodosey, fishy o fish, and ah mosh. =D
The merry frens were supposed to have been gathered in three sets. Each set comes with a pair.

We have bodoby and ahmosh as matured set.
We've got bodosey and fishy fish as lame set.
And we should have bodolat and bodopock as a cute set. But bodopock was missing 'physically', but his was sort of....invisible?

3 x'mas trees haha :D lame. anyway meet amos's present no.1 a romantic candlelight x'mas tree. the other mini tree is bought by yours truly for her dear mom cause she wanted to have some x'mas mood at home just to have dear papa say "we very poor meh now? why buy so small tree. for baby use wan ar?" -_- your luilui is poor. zzz

amos's present no.2. himself in a mini version :D kakaka very ke ai bear which loudly plays "jingle bells" when you ~~kuchi~~ press his left foot. hung at my connected.....*shing* toilet door...hahahahah :D so that my brother can press it anytime he wants and usually it's in the morning where it's now like my alarm clock -_-

OH* and his cheeks lights up! :D lol. good usage ...like handphone light in the cinema darkness.

keke ms.happy sunshine!!! :D i super love her and mr.happy. hahah one set de. but always never manage to buy cause....i have promised myself never to buy anymore soft toys-_- and the big one is super exp (rm80?) cannotlar. in the end of the day i don't know where to place them. but since she came to me.....:D her role now is making ppl happy early in the morning....yes. she's at the toilet mirror :D hahahhahahahahahaha making friends with amos bear and my brother's 40kg girlfriend loves her to bits and pieces.

1 year has gone since our last xmas celebration, time flies and bodos are older by one year. hair getting lesser, more wrinkles hahahaha! This year we expand our bodo group happily, so that there's more present we can receive lolx!!

As a Bodo, we have our Xmas tradition among ourselves:
We will exchange pressies, eating some nice food, taking pics, and last but not least, main requirement: being bodo.

We had our Xmas dinner at Jake's Charbroiled Steakhouse...! Invited bodos: tall bodopock, round bodolat, baby bodoby, lame bodosey, ah mosh, siu mai, fishy fish, and mahhh kus!

Let's start out with FOOD! im excited once i see these pics again hahaha

Process goes like this, we had a lucky draw, each one will draw a lot, and get a present from all of us. So the lucky draw process goes:

'Pick one please' lolx! We didn buang sampah merata-rata... this is how we pick our lots hahaha! No lucky box to put these in.

First lucky one, Bodoby got a dustbin from Fish! Multi-purpose bin! Bodoby demostrated it already!

Ah mosh got an elephant coinbox from Bodolat! So he has matured bodoness...mebe he shud get a cute stuff like this to balance up hahahaha!

Bodopock got a diary from Mahh kuss..., so that he can write alot of girls' telephone number inside =D. We realized there's a sweet note on that diary too hmmmmm

Siu mai gave me a recipe book and a keychain...! I have a reason for this book! When i'm hungry i'll just read it then im full..coz i dunno how to cook any of it, lolx!

Today I wanted to buy some presents for Xmas. And I dun wanna buy presents alone, instead I tagged Bodoby to follow me for my present hunt.
Since she's so bored, I am actually doin her a favor to hang out hahahaha!

Apparently, none of us are very keen of taking pics while we walk or go anywhere...
There's not alot of pics to show, therefore, all I can do is just to google some of it hahaha! At least it looks colorful~ LOL

Spent almost more than half a day outside haha, and we realized that we have not went out together before, lolx! Like what I've told Bodoby, I had a phobia eating any fast food for the week, thus I suggested chinese food!! XD

So here we are, Wong Kok..! And we chatted and only to realize that two of us have not went out together before, lolx!

After filling my stomach, I've got energy to hunt for pressies...Well, no pics for pressies, hahaha! Since it was meant for a surprise so I cant show it on the blog XD.

A note here, I said I got energy to walk after i ate lunch... I walk like an athlete, but Bodoby walked like an aunty coz her leg ache, hand ache hahaha! She play badminton like a pro lo maybe XD. Well, we hardly walk any faster...and a pity she have to follow me to buy presents. lolx!

Well, they were setting Disney event there...we took few mins to see some little girls perform, sing and shake butt! hahaha! I should tell Bulat this "even children can shake butt so gracefully, you should try learn it someday!!! " hahaha!!

After I accomplished my mission, finish buying pressies, we went for a movie... LOL!

This is the kind of movie that I dun expect to watch...but sometimes its good to watch some movie tats refreshing haha! But its not a lovey dovey show tho, its all bout life. Reminds me someone should watch tis, it will help alot. Right Bodobyyyyy? XD

Next, I followed Bodoby back home so she can feed Bodogurr, and I managed to learn a few strokes on her piano XD. And we had dinner after that...it was then I kesiannn seeing aunty had body aches here and there. I decided to drive her car for dinner and drive back to my house...it wasnt then we felt we're in a rollercoaster havoc, until I reach my house hahaha!

Today is a productive day, I didn know I've done so many things in just a day hahaha!

i ate once at KL, restaurant KINKIN! veryvery famious one for 'malat pan mee' (spicy pan mee) i was thinking to myself don't know when can i only bring people to go try cause i for sure will never reach KL in 1 piece. thnks to my baby bro who said there was a shop nearby that sells almost the same kind of pan mee. ALMOST. not as good but worth the calories :D

keke. my verdict...i love the fact that the ikan bilis is crunchy *yummy* and the half boiled egg does wonders (maybe i should hlaf boil egg and mix with my rice, add belacan!! poor people food rocks!) the chilli is hot enough :D maybe next time i will try more!! :D typing this now can feel my mouth water...oh chilli..why are you in this worllllddddd~~ *muarksmuarks*
:D baby let's train up next time!!! level up!! :D the pan mee is at rm5.50 per bowl. better to be washed down with asam boi and the "sui gao" (dumpling) is surprisingly not bad:D hard to find nice sui gao okay! (im a sui gao fan wahahhaa) always the sui gao i eat outside all on the aneroxic side. thin and no meat wan. this one got! :D

Hiya!! Before i start anything i wanna sayy sori coz i cant keep promise to celeb for Bodolat on her bday coz i went back hometown on that week T__T
I anticipate that i will be very very busy on Dec (which is starting to happen now... ) so if i dun go back home i cant go back home whole Dec already.

I went back hometown last week, and this is wat i saw standing on my room desk!! Hahaha!
And I asked, "Ehh whose big Spidey is this? And also the mini Spidey?"
My mom said, "Yur uncle sell those toys and u collect stuff like this, so i take from him la!"

LOL! And never expect my mom knows Spider-Man hahaha! I assume is my early Xmas pressie from my parents XD!

Sorry for the late post on the Halloween cum Birthday party on 30th Oct 2009.

We went to celebrate at Redbox, Midvalley.

As you can see..the Halloween decorations looked so real. Even Bulat also gone missing from the photo because she don't even want to be in any of the spooky photos. Wakaka..

The one fact about our BODOS is that Bulat rather sit Rollercoaster than to enter a Haunted house, where on the other hand, Casey rather go to Haunted house than to sit Rollercoaster. How lah this both gonna survive together in the theme park? LOL~

Our Karaoke session is like normal. By all means, our "normal" might not be the normal "normal" to others. We jump, shout, scream, dance, shake butt during our karaoke sessions. Even sang "Boom boom pow" by Black Eye Pees...so cool.

Bodo bodo sekalian,

I want to apologies ( it's too late to apologies...it's too late....i say it's too late ~~~ ) for not spending time with you all and for not putting effort to update the blog. The truth is that my schedule is currently in a kelam-kabut status, and i am trying hard to fix everything so that i can have a new schedule starting next year. I think it's only fair that you all know what had been happening to me since the day i gone away ( omg...this phrase so machoooo ~~ :P )

1 ) I had started a new company with my brother not long ago. He is running the company and i am just a sleeping partner.

2 ) I just put my whole saving ( not inclusive of other savings like fix, funds..etc ) into Maxis share. So i am gonna be poor nowdays :(

3 ) I had stopped my japanese classes since end of october due to changes of teacher. Actually it wasn't just that. The other reason is because things will be rather busy at year end in the company, i afraid i got no time to study. I am currently making a timetable for me to study on my own with the helps of my classmates and my ex-teacher.

4 ) JLPT Exam 2009 Coming!! Me and bodolat will once again take the JLPT exam and the exam will be on early december, so plenty to read, plenty to write.

5 ) My company is going thru a small change both physically and management. There is a small possibility that we might change office.

6 ) Ermm...Dragonica. -.-' ... A game introduced by my cousin which currently me and bodolat is playing. But we are slowing down now in terms of games. Too old d.. :P

7 ) My sister is getting married :P.

8 ) I am addicted to marathon -.-'

Due to all this, i am changing. I am also planning to start a new business somewhere in febuary next year right before chinese new year. Already got it planned up and even got myself a partner ( in a form of one of my best friend :D ).

Ok la. I will post once in a while. I miss blogging !!!! T.T
